Pediatric First Aid for Caregivers and Teachers (PedFACTs)is a new educational program developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) specifically to prepare caregivers and teachers to appropriately recognize and respond to the ill or injured child. Each topic is divided into three sections:

What You Should Know, providing background information.
What You Should Look For, providing assessment information.
What you Should Do, providing first aid treatment information.
